Wondering what would be the 10 favorite films of DT fans.  Not sure a Pitch Black fan would love necessarily put "Woman of the Dunes" in there, but then again, one can never be sure of these things.  So OK, DT fans, post your 10 favs!  Maybe even DT himself could post his current (yet always evolving) Top 10 of all time to juice this board up a little.

My list is infamous for also being a list of the top ten reasons Hollywood is a terrible industry.

1. Masters of the Universe (first movie I remember seeing)
2. Superman II/IV (IV is most loyal to the comic, two is just the better movie)
3. Fire Walk With Me (Best well made film... yet)
4. The Matrix Saga (cause I'm a nerd)
5. Batman Returns (cause it's Batman)
6. Ed Wood (Great movie about making movies. Amazing performances.)
7. Unbreakable (Underrated comic book flick with an interesting angle)
8. StarGate (One of the first sci-fi films I've ever really loved)
9. Die Hard (Best action movie ever made hands down)
10. Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure (Best road movie ever)

...and another 10 for fun...

11. Barton Fink (I need to have some respectable films on this list. Great movie about screenwriting. Slightly better than Adaptation.)
12. Brazil (Masterpiece.)
13. Pulp Fiction (Overrated Tarantino flick? Yeah, but I still friggin' love it)
14. Speed (A bad script that turned into a good movie through score, acting, editing, and directing.)
15. Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (Great musical. Wilder puts Depp to shame.)
16. Army of Darkness (What movies are all about)
17. Brain Candy (Funny movie with depth. I wouldn't mind if every comedy followed the structure of this film where social commentary is put ahead of laughs.)
18. Child’s Play 2 (Scariest film ever made... That and I saw it when I was 8.)
19. The Unrated Chronicles of Riddick
20. Armageddon (Shut up, I've heard it. This film is the one I compare all summer films to. This flick had it all: fun, long, funny, sad, action packed, able to make out with a fine date with, made a horrible plot realistic enough for almost 3 hours, and a great soundtrack).

Here's a go (American studio only here):

Godfather 1 & 2 (engrossing despite 100 viewings)
Citizen Kane (listen to Eberts commentary)
Chinatown (script, acting, actors, and oh, nice direction too)
Shawshank Redemption (the emotional wallop is undeniable)
Terminator 2 (it made its star a Governor, and the first really great use of sound)
Double Indemnity (film noir at its most intelligent)
Almost Famous (the directors cut is like candy to a music freak like me)
A comedy to be named later (comedy is so hard to weather time, although Duck Soup, Bringing up Baby, the Philadelphia Story, Pee Wee's Big Adventure, and Something about Mary always make me laugh).

I treasure the precious few and rare gems that I am able to watch over and over. I am also big into visuals that pay attention to detail like Ridley Scott’s Blade Runner or Cameron’s Aliens. Their films are so visually rich you can always find something new, yet they also contain atmosphere and heart

1. Alien/Aliens
2. Blade Runner
3. Bride of Frankenstein
4. Dark City
5. Empire Strikes Back
6. Fight Club
7. Maltese Falcon
8. Matrix
9. Nightmare before Christmas
10. Pulp Fiction

It was hard to limit my list to 10. Here a few that perhaps on a different day would have been on the list and I love just as much

Cabinet of Dr. Caligari
Ghost in the Shell
Metropolis
Raiders of the Lost Ark
Sky Captain
Star Wars: A New Hope
Terminator 2

A few others that aren’t coming to mind at the moment

It's not that I don't understand the question, it's just impossible for me to list just ten. Here's my list (for today and in no paticular order):

Pitch Black
The Chronicles Of Riddick
Jurassic Park
Thelma And Louise
The Seventh Sign
I, Robot
Poseidon Adventure (Shelly Winters)
Poseidon (Kurt Russel)
Titanic
Shrek
Forrest Gump
Blades I and II (haven't seen III, yet)
The Matrix Saga

The Ten Commandments (Charleton Heston, and Yul Brenner)
The Astronauts Wife
Planet Of The Apes (1968 and 2001)
Misery
Alien
Alien vs Predator
Terminator II and III
The Green Mile

There's more, but lucky for you I'm tired.
